・✋Truthfully, I also enjoy the typical "edgy angst/hurt/comfort" scenarios too.
(Sweet Pool and other nitro+Chiral VNs are my faves)

💙Walter/Jonathan from SMT4 is the pairing I draw the most😈😇 (左右固定. no reverse)
I also like Kenji/Kiyoharu and Lucifer/Merkabah, by extension.
💛I love how they were always meant to be two halves of a whole as Satan in SMT4 FINAL.
💙Over the years, I've (privately) written many character analyses about these two--including how they both perfectly embody the concepts of the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine (spiritual concepts that go beyond human social constructs). *Especially* through their demon forms *and* how they combine into a "perfect being" as Satan, too.
Satan being "God's other half" in SMTIV FINAL only adds more theological credence to this :)
💛The DEMONIC GENE and PRAYERS manga have some of my favorite WalterJona moments as well. PRAYERS with that WalterJona hospital scene & the Magnetite scene... しゅき～😋💕
DEMONIC GENE's depiction of Walter's personality is my favorite, though.
It's very in-line with how his character is *supposed* to be read in SMTIV in Japanese.
💙Besides having a silly Happy Family AU with WalterJona and the tiny Akiras (if you know, you know!🤫), I love *looove* drawing them in their demon forms as Walter-Lucifer and Jonathan-Merkabah too.
💛I generally depict Walter & Jonathan being sillier, more physically affectionate and happier versus their harrowing fate in SMTIV and SMTIV FINAL.
💙Most might enjoy exploring their angsty severed relationship.
Though I naturally tend to consider the "what-ifs", by playing with Walter & Jonathan's established character traits & lore---that DOES exist according to NPC dialogue in both games & special character voice lines recorded by the JP voice actors!---to further bring out more of their multi-faceted personalities, versus the main story quickly pigeonholing them into their respective alignments after SMTIV's climax.
💛I like to play with the in-game/canon scenarios (like the scene in Tsukiji Hongwanji with Jonathan striking Walter in SMTIV, or when WalterJona are wandering aimlessly as souls in The Expanse in SMTIV FINAL) by brainstorming & adding moments of introspection to see how much more character development & emotional beats we could squeeze out of those scenes through those small additions :)
